You make me feel safe.
I make you feel seen.
You comfort me when I am down and feel hopeless.
I am your biggest cheerleader.
Your embrace melts all my stress away.
I speak as the voice of reason in your life.
You know when I want ice cream or oreo cookies.
I cut you fruit even when you don’t ask.
You offer your hand to stabilize me.
I cling to your arm as my safety.
You tell me about your struggles and concerns for the future.
I listen intently, ensuring you that I trust you will do well.
You are willing to work hard so that I can rest.
I am so grateful that you would allow me such an opportunity.
You support me and all my endeavors.
I share things with you that I have not been able to share with anyone else.
You provide me with distractions when my head is in a fog.
I remind you to stay hydrated and drink enough water.
You also remind me to stay hydrated and drink enough water.
I encourage you to pursue your interests.
You got down on one knee and asked for my hand.
I have committed myself to you, entirely.
You are mine, and I am yours.
Thank you for being so faithful through it all, in the big things and the small.
