For my friends, old and new, who are on a journey with God. Inspired by Psalm 139
The Thread
How did I stray so far?
How did I wander away so willingly?
How did I come to this place?
Where I am not sure how to get back to Him?
O, where is my heart? Where is my life?
Where is my hope?
Where is my desire? Where is my path?
Where is He?
Where is He?
Will He find me here? Will I find Him here?
How do I get back to my faith? How do I gain back my life?
How do I bring me back?
Oh, for the –t-h-r-e-a-d– that leads me,
Oh, for the –t-h-r-e-a-d– that leads me to God.
O, Praise for the mystery of the –t-h-r-e-a-d– that has not let go of me————-not at all.
He is here
To hold on to, and to follow that –t-h-r-e-a-d– that leads to
Life in Christ and to His love
–He–is–here–.
