Traditionally, Christian faith practice has relied heavily upon verbal expression. However, with the digital revolution, the mode of communication has shifted to multi-sensory expression. Evidence of this can be seen as visual art and images cover the pages of Facebook, and more and more people find themselves swept along by the changing medium of communication.
Consequently, it is easier to spot the artists among us. As a follow up to the third Asian American Equipping Symposium “Healing of Memories”, ISAAC (Institute for the Study of Asian American Christianity) will be hosting an event called “AArt and Faith” with Asian American art and artists connecting with, expressing, and conveying the divine healing art of God. Come and find healing through liturgy, visual art, and music. A Korean BBQ lunch with fusion kimchi will be provided as well.
When: Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Where: The Church of Our Savior
535 West Roses Road, San Gabriel, CA 91775
