JUST CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF HIM

Last month my daughter who is an animal lover got married outdoors, lakeside in the High Sierra mountains.   The fish sending boils across the lake and the squirrel taking a bite of the cake even before she had a chance to give her husband his mouthful made for an appropriate memory. 

She is also a creature of habit.  Growing up she was known to wear a USC baseball cap, mismatched color socks, and basketball shorts every time, everywhere.  Her USC cap had gotten so worn she was gifted a new one…which she put aside to continue wearing her old one. 

When she was around six we got a dog.  Foxy would sleep in our den in his crate.  Every night for two years, our daughter would sleep on the floor next to that crate, close to her pet.  An animal lover, creature of habit, with determination and devotion.  She just couldn’t get enough of Foxy!

May we be a lover of God, a creature of habit.  May our consistent actions declare, we just can’t get enough of Him.  May we be found to exercise determination and devotion practicing His presence.  For therein we will be forever refreshed  no matter the circumstances.
