Would you like to take advantage of a fun and interesting opportunity to showcase your culture and your own family’s code of conduct and value system whilst making a difference to the life of two British teens?

Do you believe in instilling community values, discipline and boundaries in your children? Can you give two British teenagers the chance to have some much-needed structure in their lives?

Following the huge success of the first three series, the BBC is looking for role model families to take part in a fourth series of a factual entertainment programme on parenting. In each one-hour programme, two British teenagers are sent to live with a family abroad, to experience life in their country under their rules. In the last series, the BBC sent overindulged teenagers from the UK to live with families all over the world, from Jamaica to India, Alabama to South Africa. In this series we want to send two British teenagers to America to sample a disciplined, yet loving upbringing.

For this series we are looking to represent a family of Asian origin (with children aged 12-18) who are proud of their strong parenting and family values and who would be willing to accommodate two British teenagers for one week in May/June 2011 and instill in them the values and morality they demand of their own children.

We are searching for conservative, educated, disciplined but most importantly, loving parents. What is very apparent from previous shows is that whilst strict boundaries have been in place, the parents are inspirational because they ultimately love their children very much and only have their best interests at heart.

The British teens will be expected to attend school, complete homework and help with household chores; they will not be guests in the house but new members of the family.

Historically this programme has proved to be a mutually very rewarding and life enriching experience as well as providing a fascinating insight into the values and history of other cultures.
