Taste of Seminary: July 9-15, 2011
Taste of Seminary is a week-long discernment event in Chicago for young adults (20-35) of color to learn from scholars of color from a variety of institutions of theological education in the areas of Biblical Studies, History, Ministry and Theology. In addition to coursework and small group processing, participants also visit ministry sites (churches and non-profit organizations) to meet with persons who are engaged in ministry. Participants have ranged from a a diversity of backgrounds (geographically, racially, culturally, theologically) and have an opportunity to engage in critical reflection with peers and small group leaders.
